Charity Links

Hungersite

The Hunger Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific humanitarian need; the eradication of world hunger. On average, over 220,000 individuals from around the world visit the site each day to click the "give free food" button and help feed the hungry.

Stop Hiv site

The Stop HIV Site aims to help the many AIDS victims in the world today. They raise money for AIDS treatment as well as Research and Development for cures and vaccines. Visitors to The Stop HIV Site can donate money just by clicking into their sponsors.

The Animal Rescue site

The Animal Rescue Site (www.theanimalrescuesite.com) was founded to help feed and care for some of the 27 million unwanted animals given to shelters in the US every year. With the simple, daily click of the purple "Feed an Animal in Need" button, visitors fund bowls of food for formerly neglected or abused animals now living in shelters or sanctuaries. Visitors pay nothing. Site sponsors pay for all funding.

Ecology Fund

EcologyFund is a way to get new funds for critical habitat and wilderness preservation using the power of the internet. When you "click to give" their sponsors pay the project you selected to preserve the number of square feet shown by each project. You pay nothing. To maximize the contribution, click on each project every day.

Breast Cancer site

The Breast Cancer Site was founded to help offer free mammograms to underprivileged women nationwide - women for whom early detection would not otherwise be possible. The Breast Cancer Site provides a way to help promote awareness and prevent breast cancer deaths every day - through easy online activities. With the simple, daily click of a pink button at The Breast Cancer Site, visitors help provide mammograms to those in need. Visitors pay nothing. Funding is paid by site sponsors and benefits the nonprofit National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

Child Health site

The Child Health Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific need: saving children's lives and improving the quality of their health. Over 200,000 children die every week from preventable causes, and many millions more suffer from preventable disease, cureable blindness, landmines and other crippling accidents.
Visitors to The Child Health Site can click on the "Help a Child - Click Here" button and, at no cost to them, save young lives and help children stay healthy. Each click - free to the visitor - generates funds paid by site sponsors. The majority of this funding goes to The Child Health Site's charity partners, who use the funds to: distribute vitamins, administer oral re-hydration formula to children with severe dehydration, make a prosthesis (usually a foot or a leg) to enable child amputees to walk and lead active lives, restore lost eyesight through simple surgeries that reverse blindness caused by cataracts and trachoma, test pregnant mothers for HIV as a step toward preventing mother-to-child transmission of the AIDS virus.

Rain Forest site

The Rainforest Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific ecological need: the preservation of the world's rainforests. Individuals from around the world visit the site each day to click the "Save Our Rainforests" button and help rescue imperiled land.
Land preservation, made possible by funds raised at The Rainforest Site, is paid for by site sponsors and carried out by The Nature Conservancy, The Rainforest Conservation Fund, The World Parks Endowment, The Cascades Conservation Partnership and The Friends of Calakmul. These organizations work to preserve rainforest land in Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay and other locations worldwide. In a addition a portion of funding goes to preserve old-growth forest in the state of Washington, USA.

Stop the hunger

Stop The Hunger! is not a non-profit organization but a group of people who focus on helping America's hungry.
